Scorpios was the original beach club. Now it’s redefining the holiday wardrobe.
Long before “beach club” became a global category, there was Scorpios. Founded on a sun-drenched peninsula of Mykonos in 2015 by Thomas Heyne, alongside Mario Hertel, who brought his own background in Berlin’s nightlife scene to the project, the destination became the reference point that a decade of beach clubs worldwide have since tried to imitate, drawing an international, high-end and famously well-dressed crowd along the way. Now, having spent a decade shaping how people party, Scorpios is turning its curatorial instinct toward how people dress, taking full ownership of its Bazaar for the first time this season and reporting a 45% rise in year-to-date revenue since bringing the offering in-house.
This marks a 14% rise against 2024 – the final season under the Bazaar’s previous outsourced curation model – and a 45% increase against the same period in 2025.
The move marks the latest step in an evolution that has been building since Scorpios Bodrum opened its doors in 2024, expanding the brand from its beach party roots into a more holistic, 360-degree concept built on art, design, food and healing alongside its world-class music programme. The Bazaar is where that philosophy meets fashion: a growing retail identity spotlighting the emerging, under-the-radar designers before they hit the mainstream, in much the same way Scorpios’ music line-ups have long championed rising DJs ahead of the wider industry.
THE WORLD’S NEXT BIG BRANDS, ALL IN ONE PLACE
Where Scorpios once set the tone for how people party by the sea, the Bazaar is now beginning to shape how they dress for it. In contrast to competitors stocking familiar resortwear labels found at hospitality destinations worldwide, the Scorpios team sets its apart from the rest, revealing a global edit of over 40 brands spanning Peru to Italy to Berlin – positioning the Bazaar less as a shop and more as a discovery platform for the next wave of names in resortwear, jewellery, accessories, and, as the range expands into home and design pieces such as ceramics next year, the everyday. This intentionally mirrors the same instinct Scorpios has for unearthing and spotlighting talent early that has always defined its live music offering.

Around 40% of this season’s brand partners are new to Scorpios, layered alongside trusted names from previous years to strike a balance between fresh discovery and the familiarity returning guests have come to expect. Hero names this season include Alex Rivière from Spain, Adriana Degreas and Frescobol Carioca from Brazil, Zeynep Arçay and Siedres from Turkey, CHE Studios from the UK, ESCVDO from Peru and Roberto Collina from Italy.
The season’s centrepiece so far has been a summer-long residency with headwear and accessories label Ruslan Baginskiy from Ukraine, running from 12 July until the end of September – known for his creations being worn by celebrities such as Madonna, Beyoncé, Gigi and Bella Hadid. The Ruslan Bagiskiy space at Scorpios invites guests to customise signature styles with a limited-edition Scorpios medallion, turning each piece into a personal keepsake and an extension of the island itself – a format the team is already looking to build on with future partners through on-site workshops, styling salons and invite-only sessions with stylists and artisans.

OWNERSHIP AS THE FOUNDATION FOR WHAT’S NEXT
For Scorpios, bringing curation in-house is about more than a single season. It lays the groundwork for the Bazaar to grow into a fully-fledged pillar of the brand in its own right, alongside its music and wellbeing offerings, with a clear point of view as Scorpios expands into new, more urban destinations in the seasons ahead. Plans already in motion for 2027 and 2028 include an expanded product range into home and objects, the introduction of Scorpios’ first fragrance, and further development of the Scorpios merchandise line, first launched this year.
Thomas Heyne, Co-Founder of Scorpios, says: “For ten years, Scorpios has been about finding what’s next before anyone else does, whether that’s a DJ, a ritual, or a way of thinking about hospitality. The Bazaar is the same instinct applied to fashion. Taking ownership of it was about making sure that instinct, and the relationships behind it, stay entirely ours,” says Thomas Heyne, Co-Founder of Scorpios.
“What excites me about this season is that it’s proof of concept. We’ve shown that when you build a retail offering the same way you’d build a line-up, around discovery, not just demand, guests respond to it. That’s the ambition for the next two years, an expanded range into home and objects, our first fragrance, and a Scorpios product line that stands on its own. We don’t want the Bazaar to just be part of the destination, we want it to become one of the reasons people come, somewhere with the same pull as the beach, the music, everything else that makes Scorpios what it is.”
