PPL PRS REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO LEICESTER CITY CENTRE
PPL PRS, the music licensing and copyright specialists, have reaffirmed their commitment to Leicester city centre by signing a five-year lease extension, safeguarding existing jobs and paving the way for the creation of new technology roles.

The decision follows support from Invest in Leicester, which worked closely with the business to evaluate its long-term property and growth requirements. The extension strengthens PPL PRS’s presence in the city and highlights Leicester’s growing reputation as a destination for technology, talent and business investment.
Faced with the challenge of assessing limited Grade A office availability while considering the complexities of a major facilities refurbishment, PPL PRS turned to Invest in Leicester for support.
Acting as an independent facilitator rather than a traditional property agent, Invest in Leicester provided a dedicated account manager to coordinate engagement across a range of public and private sector organisations, helping the company navigate key business decisions and future growth plans.
A key factor in securing PPL PRS’s continued investment in Leicester was access to talent. Through direct connections to Leicester’s Graduate Retention Programme and local authority recruitment initiatives, the company has been able to tap into a strong pipeline of skilled graduates from the city’s three universities, which collectively produce more than 60,000 graduates each year.
Remaining in its existing city centre location also enables PPL PRS to continue benefiting from excellent connectivity, including proximity to Leicester railway station, while capitalising on major regeneration and transport improvements taking place across the city.
