The development will be located off Gynsill Lane and aptly named Gynsill Grange. A total of 40 attractive, high specification homes will be delivered, including a mix of open market sale and affordable homes.

This new community will cater to all types of homebuyers and feature a collection of brand-new home designs, comprising two, three and four bedroom properties for everyone from first-time buyers to growing families.

Alongside providing new homes for the Leicestershire market, Allison Homes East Midlands will be making financial S106 contributions to boost the Anstey community, which will go towards improving outdoor sports facilities and open spaces, secondary education, healthcare, allotments, waste management, travel and public transport, as well as Anstey Library.

Gynsill Grange will be Allison Homes’ fourth development in Leicestershire and fifth site for the East Midlands region. Forming an integral part of company’s portfolio, it’ll be built alongside the homebuilder’s St Mary’s Chase development in Stanton under Bardon, newly launched Finney Meadows development in Shepshed, and upcoming developments Auster Meadows in Rearsby and Hayes View in Cotgrave, Nottinghamshire.

Karl Edwards, Managing Director at Allison Homes East Midlands, said: “We have been working incredibly hard behind the scenes on Gynsill Grange and are proud to have now received planning approval. These 40 much-needed, new homes will be delivered to high standards and in line with today’s housing needs, with future homeowners in mind every step of the way.

“Gynsill Grange is a huge part of our ongoing commitment to bringing more quality new homes to Leicestershire. We’re looking forward to commencing work on site, creating homes people will feel proud own, and supporting the local community through charitable initiatives.”
