One week to go to the Bull’s golf makeover
With just one week to go until Birmingham’s iconic Bull unveils its golf-themed transformation, excitement is building for the 2025 Betfred British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo at The Belfry this August.
Next Thursday 24 July, the Bullring Shopping Centre will become a hub of golfing fun as the famous Bull statue is revealed in its brand-new golf makeover. And now, fans have even more reason to visit as DP Tour winner, Marcus Armitage, affectionately known as The Bullet, will be making a special appearance.
Visitors can meet Marcus, snap selfies with the Bull and the Betfred British Masters trophy, and enjoy a putting challenge on the pop-up green next to the statue. There’ll also be a 24-hour competition to win tickets to the tournament, plus a chance to meet some very special four-legged guests as this year’s official charity partner, Guide Dogs, will be on-site with their superstar pups, raising awareness for their life-changing work supporting people with sight loss.
Playing on the DP World Tour for the past six seasons, Marcus said, “There’s nothing better than connecting with fans and bringing golf to the heart of the city. I can’t wait to see the Bull in its new look and meet everyone getting into the Masters spirit. It’s going to be a brilliant day.”
The Betfred British Masters 2025 takes place 21-24 August at The Belfry in Sutton Coldfield – a legendary venue and the final stop before the Ryder Cup. Tickets are available now via the official tournament website Tickets | Betfred British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo 2025 – DP World Tour.
