A GINGER & LEMON LIQUEUR FIT FOR ROYALTY
King Edward VII was a daredevil royal with a love of the outdoors and the countryside, whatever the weather. The Royal Physician became concerned about the monarch’s health, and appointed Berry Bros. & Rudd to create an invigorating tonic to keep him healthy.
And so The King’s Ginger was born. Inspired by the original spirit first crafted in 1903 by royal warrant for His Majesty, The King’s Ginger is a perfectly crafted blend of ginger (known for its medicinal properties) with a citrus kick, enjoyed on its own, and which comes to life in many delicious cocktails.
With a bottle designed around the classic shape of a hip flask, not only is the bottle now 100 percent recyclable, but The King’s Ginger also commits 10 percent of UK profits to The Prince’s Countryside Fund, with over £27,000 donated so far.
Inspired by the pursuit of an outdoors life and designed to be shared amongst the generations, The King’s Ginger is both a British classic and the perfect revitalising liqueur for the 21st century.
And, with two more royal warrants awarded over its brand history of over a century, this truly is a product fit for a King.
TASTING NOTES
The colour of hay and straw or a rich golden syrup, The Kings Ginger is unmistakably Ginger – a cloud of fresh natural ginger with a faint aura of zesty lemon on the nose swiftly entices the first sip. The initial flow of ginger syrup sweetness is gently interrupted by the tingle of fresh ginger and a subtle and gentle uplift of lemon citrus. Warming just as it should be and revivifying.
