John Minnis celebrates continued success with sixth office opening on Ormeau Road
Northern Ireland estate agency John Minnis is continuing its impressive growth with the opening of a new office on Ormeau Road, South Belfast, expected in mid-to-late November 2026.
The expansion will bring the company’s total number of offices to six, marking another significant milestone for the independent estate agency following its 20th anniversary celebrations last year. With a growing team of more than 40 staff and further growth anticipated, the new office reflects the business’s continued success and ambition to expand its reach across Northern Ireland.
John Minnis was founded in 2005 with its first office in Holywood, Co. Down and has grown steadily over the past two decades, establishing a strong presence across Belfast, Holywood, Bangor, Donaghadee and Comber. Built on a commitment to industry leadership, innovation and community support, the company’s continued success was recognised at the Belfast Telegraph Property Awards 2025, where it was named Northern Ireland Estate Agency of the Year 2025/26.
The decision to open on Ormeau Road represents an exciting opportunity for John Minnis to bring its established expertise to the South Belfast property market. Recognised for its vibrant community, independent businesses and attractive residential neighbourhoods, Ormeau Road was also named runner-up in The Sunday Times Best Places to Live feature, highlighting the area’s growing appeal.
John Minnis will also be sharing the new Ormeau Road office space with its official mortgage partner Mortgage IQ, allowing for a more seamless buying process for customers in the region.
