Taylor Wimpey sponsors Evesham Bowling Club
Taylor Wimpey Midlands has sponsored Evesham Bowling Club for a year with a £500 donation.
The club, which is located near the housebuilder’s Abbey Grange development in Evesham, is open to bowlers of all ages and abilities, offering coaching and opportunities to participate in both friendly and national and county league matches.
Nigel Gould, Chairman at Evesham Bowling Club, said: “A big thank you to Taylor Wimpey for their generous sponsorship. It’s fantastic to see large companies support grassroots sports clubs such as Evesham Bowling Club.
“We are currently competing in four leagues and have around 80 members, three of which have qualified for national finals at Leamington this year. This donation from Taylor Wimpey will help us to continue providing local bowls players with a venue to play at, coaches to improve their skills and build their confidence, and equipment to new players who need it. We host various social events and are open throughout the year, switching to indoor bowls during the winter months.”
