As part of the previously announced Dragon Ball saga, Dragon Ball Z arrives on Crunchyroll in subtitled and dubbed versions starting from March 1.
Synopsis
With overwhelming and extraordinary power, new enemies descend upon Goku. Goku has no way out… In this second series, Gohan, the son of Goku joins the fighting battle and the action is even more vigorous.
About Dragon Ball Z
Broadcast in Japan from April 1989 to January 1996, Dragon Ball Z is the second part of the anime based on the original story created by Akira Toriyama.
With 291 episodes, Dragon Ball Z is the longest series of the saga. It’s divided in 4 main parts:
· Saiyan Saga
· Frieza Saga
· Androids Saga
· Majin Buu Saga
Dragon Ball Z is also the most popular part of the saga, especially in the English speaking territories. Many fans discovered the series through its English dubbed version that launched in 1996 and with over 50 video games published from 1999 onwards.
Dragon Ball on Crunchyroll
In February, Crunchyroll announced that the five TV series of Dragon Ball saga (over 800 episodes) will be available in the United Kingdom. Dragon Ball (153 episodes) and Dragon Ball Super (131 episodes) are already available. Next steps are Dragon Ball GT (64 episodes) from 15th March, and Dragon Ball Z Kai (167 episodes) from 29th March.
