It’s a legal requirement and you must wear a seat belt if one is fitted in the seat you’re using – there are only a few exceptions, but your wedding day isn’t.
International Drivers Association surveyed 2500 brides and grooms to be and asked if they would consider wearing a seatbelt on their big day.

The law still exists on your big day, International Drivers Association warns, and that goes for tins on the back of your vehicle as it could pose a danger to cyclists, other drivers and pedestrians if they were to become loose. You can run the risk of being fined up to £1000 on your big day for not wearing seatbelts and causing dangers on the road.
