A magical family day out: Christmas Punt and Hunt!

Christmas is fast approaching, and to celebrate the festive season, Traditional Punting Company are launching a ‘Christmas Punt and Hunt’ Package this December.

This family-friendly event takes your little elves on a jolly and joyful punting tour across the River Cam, and around the city of Cambridge. The whole family will get an activity book and must answer a range of festive questions, all of which will lead you around the city; following clues and searching for answers.

Once the Christmas scavenger hunt is completed, there will be a delicious reward waiting at Hardy’s sweetshop.

Joe Merwiak, Director of Traditional Punting Company, said: “The city of Cambridge is full of old buildings and traditions. We want people to be able to experience cosy Cambridge during the most wonderful time of the year, and with the Christmas markets up on the cobbled streets, it is sure to get anyone in the Christmas spirit. Both the punting tour and the city part of the scavenger hunt are particularly special, allowing people to see iconic sights like Kings College Chapel, Bridge of Sighs, and other locations that are not accessible by foot.”

The Christmas punt and hunt is child-friendly, full of festive spirit and cheer, with magical stories throughout – children of any age will enjoy this event. The hunt and activity book are aimed at those aged between 4 and 11 who will need their parents to help them complete this one-of-a-kind scavenger hunt. Older children are able to complete the hunt by themselves.
