Lady Jane Court Care Home Celebrates Positive CQC Report

Lady Jane Court Care Home is celebrating this week after receiving a ‘Good’ rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

On Wednesday, the luxury care home, operated by Avery Healthcare, achieved a ‘Good’ rating across all five CQC assessment criteria: safe, effective, responsive, caring, and well-led.

Inspectors visited the 60-bed care home in Leicester from 17th June to 15th July 2024.

The CQC report highlighted that care is personalised, ensuring that residents’ specific needs and preferences are met.

One resident expressed their satisfaction, stating, “The staff really listen to what I want and need.”

The report also praised the well-trained staff, who are committed to providing high-quality care.

Residents appreciate the team’s competence, with one noting, “I can always talk to the staff; they understand my concerns.”

Furthermore, the effective collaboration with health professionals ensures that residents receive comprehensive care management.

One resident shared, “The staff always keep me updated about my health appointments, and I feel supported in managing my needs.”

The ongoing staff training and development were recognised, demonstrating the home’s dedication to maintaining high standards of care.

A family member shared, “We couldn’t ask for anything more in a home; we honestly couldn’t, and we are very grateful [relation] is so well cared for.”
