Keynote Speakers Announced for Sabio Group’s flagship digital transformation event, Disrupt

Sabio Group, the digital customer experience (CX) transformation specialist, has unveiled the keynote speakers for its flagship European technology event.

Self-proclaimed ‘data detective and geek storyteller’, Tim Harford OBE, will entertain delegates at Disrupt in London in February.

Tim – an award-winning journalist and BBC presenter – is a renowned author specialising in business and the economy.

His books include ‘The Undercover Economist’, which has sold nearly 2 million copies, as well as the new Sunday Times number one business best seller ‘How To Make The World Add Up’, published as ‘The Data Detective’ in the US.

He will be joined as an additional keynote speaker on the day by Bruce Daisley, the former European boss of social media giant, Twitter.

Bruce has become one of the leading experts on the evolving nature of work, having had two Sunday Times bestsellers and being an active commentator on the future of work.

Tim Pickard, Sabio Group’s Chief Marketing Officer, said: “Across the digital transformation and customer experience sphere, data and the power of harnessing data to gain crucial business insights is becoming more and more important for organisations looking to stay one step ahead of their competitors.

“Running alongside that, organisations are also coming to terms with the evolving nature of work – with hybrid and home working now the norm.

“Both of our speakers at Disrupt 2023 plug directly into those themes; Tim Harford is a globally renowned data specialist while Bruce Daisley is one of the world’s leading experts on the modern working landscape.

“To attract both to speak at our flagship event is testament to the reputation of Disrupt in the digital transformation space.

“I am very excited by this year’s event – and I am looking forward to welcoming both in February.”

Tim Harford is an “undercover economist” and award-winning journalist who is praised for bringing statistical journalism to prime-time radio through his BBC show ‘More or Less’. His writing has been published in The Economist, The New York Times, Washington Post, Wired, The Sunday Times and The Guardian. He was awarded an OBE “for services to improving economic understanding” in 2019.

Bruce Daisley is described as ‘an expert on the transformations that modern work is undergoing in the era of hybrid jobs’. He has acted as a consultant for a wide range of companies, from the hottest new technology sensations to centuries-old manufacturing firms.

Sabio’s ‘Disrupt’ is the industry’s ‘must attend’ digital transformation event’.

Last year – it’s first ‘in-person’ in two years following the pandemic – attracted more than 700 delegates and involved 15 sessions and 25 speakers.
