MOUNTAINTOP JUNKSHOP ANNOUNCE UK TOUR IN SUPPORT OF DEBUT ALBUM MISADVENTURELAND

Leicester-based Mountaintop Junkshop have announced a string of intimate UK dates this autumn in support of their album Misadventureland, released earlier this year. The tour follows the success of singles “Holy Hell” and “I’m Still Looking For The Light”, which garnered widespread critical acclaim and BBC Introducing airplay.
Blurring the lines between alt-country, lo-fi Americana, and poetic indie-folk, Mountaintop Junkshop craft country-tinged minimal torch songs — stripped back and haunting, the kind that let you hear pins drop and hearts break.

Touring October–November 2025, the band will bring their raw and fragile sound to venues across the UK, with live shows promising an atmospheric, soul-stirring experience that’s already earned them comparisons to Low, Mazzy Star, and Songs: Ohia.

UK TOUR DATES 2025:

Thu 16 Oct – The Hope & Ruin, Brighton

Fri 17 Oct – The Lexington, London

Sat 18 Oct – The Louisiana, Bristol

Thu 23 Oct – The Castle Hotel, Manchester

Fri 24 Oct – The Brudenell Social Club, Leeds

Sat 25 Oct – The Cluny, Newcastle

Thu 30 Oct – Broadcast, Glasgow

(More dates to be announced)

ABOUT MOUNTAINTOP JUNKSHOP:

Hailing from Leicester, UK, Mountaintop Junkshop could easily be mistaken for alt-country misfits from a lost California scene. Their songs sound like they belong next to a red wine-stained, yellowing Frank Stanford poetry collection — timeless, intimate, and evocative. Signed to the California label Twin Star.

They’ve shared stages with the likes of Jolie Holland, Herman Dune, Ronnie Lane’s Slim Chance, and Nina Nastasia, quietly building a devoted following.
