Kin + Carta Continues Expansion In Southeast Europe With New Hub
Global digital transformation consultancy Kin + Carta has officially opened its Southeast Europe delivery hub, formalising its presence in the region following its acquisition of software development company Melon Group early last year. The news follows the rebranding of a new office space in Pristina, Kosovo.
Melon, located in both Bulgaria and North Macedonia, will now officially adopt the Kin + Carta name and branding as the final part of its integration – becoming the central delivery hub for all Kin + Carta’s Southeast Europe operations.
The full integration will see Kin + Carta clients benefit from Melon’s 20-year presence as a thriving technology business in Southeast Europe, whilst giving them access to the group’s data experts, engineers and regional reputation. Kin + Carta’s clients have already benefited from the pan-continental approach, with work being delivered by its Southeast European partners for over five years. In total, the consultancy boasts a presence of over 300 members of staff in the region, of which 80% are engineers, who deliver 50% of Kin + Carta’s output.
Likewise, this move will benefit the region’s existing European clients, such as Coca-Cola, Buchanan Technologies, Royal Philips and Banijay, who will now gain access and support from the global expertise of builders, makers and creators that form Kin + Carta’s reputation as the respected, responsible global consultancy it is today.
Kin + Carta now has operations in seven countries across Europe: Bulgaria, Greece, Kosovo, Macedonia, Poland, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom. This European wide operation complements the Americas region where the consultancy is HQ’d out of Chicago, with offices in New York, Denver, Portland, Colombia and Buenos Aires.
David Tuck, Group CEO, Kin + Carta Europe, says: “The global team recognises the deep engineering and data excellence and rich experience that comes from Southeast Europe. The next logical step to show our commitment to the region was to firmly embed the company here. It’s also important that our clients receive a consistent experience. With our delivery hub we’re enabling all of our people, across all locations the chance to develop meaningful connections with their colleagues. Ultimately one connected team means success for our Kin and our clients alike.
“Across the world and Europe we’re culturally diverse, rich in talent and experience. The aim is for our clients, prospects and future employees to feel the unique benefits of working with a growing high performing consulting partner and a responsible business from across the globe – offering fresh perspectives and problem solving abilities that only a diverse team can offer. For us, it’s about developing connections, sharing cultures, and shaping global data journeys for our clients.”
Krum Hadzhigeorgiev, former Melon CEO and Executive Managing Director of Kin + Carta Southeast Europe added: “Melon’s culture aligned with Kin + Carta’s mission to build a world that works better for everyone, which is what’s made the merger such a success. Now as Kin + Carta, and with our forthcoming data excellence centre, we’ll continue to work as one global company, maintaining our position in the southeast European market, being a voice for change and delivering the best digital capabilities for responsible business across all of Europe and globally.”
Furthering its long-term commitment to Southeast Europe, Kin + Carta plans to open a global data centre of excellence in North Macedonia, tapping into the region’s talent and super-powering its digital transformation offerings for its global clients.
