One Arrested at ‘Let Women Speak USA 2022 Tour’ Washington D.C. Event
Despite efforts of far-left extremists, UK-based women’s rights activist Kellie-Jay Keen hosted a successful Let Women Speak free speech event yesterday at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C..
Trans rights activists used multiple sirens, alarms, megaphones, and sundry household items to drown out women sharing stories of the ways gender ideology has negatively impacted their lives, including increasing their risk of violence.
One person held an alarm next to the ears of speakers until ordered to cease or be arrested by the U.S. Parks Police. Having failed to secure a permit to protest, the person and their fellow agitators were ordered to another section of the memorial. Shortly after that, the same individual can be seen fleeing on foot, chased by police and SWAT before being arrested and charged with “Disorderly Conduct-Disrupting a Public Gathering, Resisting Arrest, Violation of Demonstration Regulations, Interfering with Agency Function, and Violation of Closure of Public Use Limit.”
Sound has become a popular tactic of the far-left. Trans rights actvisits deploy it rather than engage in meaningful debate about the conflicts between gender ideology and the sex-based rights of women and girls. According to the CDC, “noise above 70 decibels over a prolonged period of time may start to damage your hearing. Loud noise above 120 decibels can cause immediate harm to your ears.”
Far-left activists have been responsible for significant disruption on the tour. She was forced to cancel her Portland stop due to credible death threats by a local antifa leader and trans-identified male who crowdfunded money to purchase weapons to use against keen and her supporters. In Tacoma last month, a man was arrested after breaking two fingers belonging to disabled LGB activist, April Morrow, founder of Sovereign Women Speaks. Antifa has intimidated and doxxed multiple women’s rights activists attending the events.
“Thank goodness the Park Police take the first amendment right to free speech seriously. I’m delighted that they stepped in and took action against this deranged individual.” – Kellie-Jay Keen, Founder of Standing for Women
The next Let Women Speak event takes place in Philadelphia on November 13th. The tour is a public record of the work done by American women’s rights activists to raise awareness of the direct harms of gender ideology. Each live-streamed event will be filmed for an upcoming documentary produced by Standing For Women.

November 13, Philadelphia, PA: 1 p.m. at the Liberty Bell (525 Market St).
November 14, New York City, NY: Time and location TBA.
(All times are local)
Keen has hosted dozens of Let Women Speak events across the UK, most recently in Brighton with hundreds in attendance. In addition to verbal abuse, trans rights activists hurled smoke bombs at the speakers and their supporters. At least three arrests were made, including one man carrying a bag of knives.
A regular target of harassment from trans rights activists, Keen has been repeatedly visited by UK police for public statements about gender ideology. Most recently, in July, she was told that a YouTube video she made about child safeguarding was “untoward about pedophiles,” which had been recorded as a “hate crime.”
In March, Keen made a splash protesting the NCAA Women’s Swimming Finals, in which Lia Thomas, a trans-identified male, was named the “first transgender NCAA Champion.” While debating the fairness of males competing in women’s sports, Keen was asked, “Are you a biologist?” She replied, “I’m not a vet, but I know what a dog is,” the video of which went internationally viral.
Keen is a steady presence across international media. She has appeared on NBC News, Tucker Carlson Tonight, Fox News, Newsmax, GB News, Daily Mail UK, Metro, PinkNews.com, Reduxx, Yahoo! News, The Times, The Sun, The Post Millennial, The Spectator and more.
